CELEBRATE with Flower Confetti

To make your own confetti, dry the petals by spreading them on a 10 x 15-inch baking pan coated with DuPont SilverStone® non-stick. Let stand on the kitchen counter for 2 to 3 days or until completely dry, stirring up occasionally to help the drying process.
  • Top salads, entrees and desserts with edible flower confetti for a festive look. Or, dress up your table with a sprinkling on your tablecloth or around each place setting.

  • At weddings, shower the bride and groom with petals instead of rice and birdseed.

  • Use kitchen shears to snip larger dried petals into confetti-size pieces.

  • Store in an airtight container in a cool, dark place (such as with your spices) until ready to use.

  • Flower confetti can be purchased through places such as Sunset Farms.
