A
few hours before the party, add the wine alternately with
the fruit (not fruit garnish) to a pitcher. Taste and add
sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time. Chill in the refrigerator. At serving
time, add the seltzer and ice. Using a sharp paring knife, slit
the orange and lemon garnish slices a quarter of the way into the
slice and hang over the side of the glass.
